About Me
I chose my professional path because I have always been drawn to learning about people’s stories, supporting them with the challenges they face, and recognizing how people are affected by various systems in their lives. My past experience in providing mental health services in public mental health clinics, primary health care, and community-based programs provides a foundation for my work as a Therapist in private practice.

"We are relational beings" and we discover ourselves in our relationship to others. As your therapist, I offer my genuine self, providing a caring and supportive place to discover new ways of viewing yourself and making positive change. My collaborative approach helps me gain an understanding of you and the way to support your unique needs.
I have supported individuals, couples and families who struggle with a range of life challenges (trauma, grief and loss, infertility, job stress or loss); relationship difficulties (marital stress, blended families, parent-child conflict); and mental health issues (Anxiety, OCD, Depression, PTSD, ADHD).

My training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) helps me to reduce distress in those who have experienced recent or past trauma. My advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) helps me to work with couples and families to identify and change difficult relationship patterns, which increases feelings of security and closeness in these relationships. I am trained in other therapy models that are Attachment and Trauma informed; such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Self-Compassion, Narrative Therapy, and Play Therapy.
I look forward to joining you on this journey of healing and change.
